Prepare your Ashford collection details

A complete pickup address helps avoid delays at handover. Include the building number, business name where relevant and any separate entrance the driver should use.

• Home collections: mention a flat number, access restrictions or an entrance that is difficult to find.
• Shops and offices: confirm opening hours and whether collection is from reception or a rear loading area.
• Workshops and warehouses: provide the unit number, loading instructions and the time the goods will be ready.
• Timed deliveries: tell us about receiving slots and closing times before booking.

Traffic, loading time and access at both addresses affect the journey. Confirm the proposed timing if your recipient needs the goods by a particular hour.

Courier transport for different loads

Deliveries from Ashford to Heathrow and beyond

You can request transport from Ashford to nearby towns, London, Heathrow or another destination in mainland Great Britain. Your goods travel in the allocated vehicle rather than passing through a parcel sorting depot.

For a Heathrow delivery, provide the exact building, terminal or cargo address and the receiving contact. Tell us if the destination has security or restricted-access requirements so access can be checked before booking.

Longer-distance deliveries may be completed the same day where collection time, journey distance and the recipient’s availability allow. An instant price does not by itself confirm that a particular arrival deadline can be met.

Select a vehicle that fits your consignment

Vehicle options include cars, small vans, medium vans, large vans and Luton vans, subject to availability. Measure the packaged items and provide the total weight before choosing.

For heavy, bulky or palletised goods, tell us whether a forklift, tail lift or loading assistance may be needed. These arrangements must be checked rather than assumed from the vehicle name.

If you are unsure which option is suitable, email the load details to info@samedayrun.co.uk before completing your booking.
