Same Day Courier Dorking

Looking for a same day courier near you in Dorking?

Samedayrun arranges collections from homes, shops, offices and commercial premises in Dorking. Businesses and private customers can request a local journey or direct delivery to another destination in mainland Great Britain.

For an address outside the town centre, provide the complete postcode and property details so the collection location can be checked. Your goods travel in a dedicated vehicle without passing through a parcel sorting depot.

If you have a fixed arrival deadline, email info@samedayrun.co.uk with both addresses, the packaged dimensions, total weight and required timing before booking.

Collection arrangements in Dorking and surrounding villages

For a town-centre shop or office, tell us whether collection takes place at the main entrance, reception or a separate loading area. Include opening hours and any restrictions on stopping outside.

For a named property or an address reached by a shared driveway, include the property name and clear entrance instructions. Mention gates, narrow approaches or limited turning space before selecting a larger van.

If you are arranging collection from a supplier, confirm that the goods are ready and authorised for release. Provide the collection reference and the contact responsible for handover.

What can we deliver?

Choose a vehicle and prepare your load

Options include cars, small vans, medium vans, large vans and Luton vans, subject to availability. Choose according to your packaged load and the access available at both addresses.

• Measure accurately: provide length, width and height after packing.
• Confirm the weight: give the total consignment weight and number of items.
• Check loading needs: tell us if a forklift, tail lift or assistance may be required so suitability can be confirmed.
• Arrange handover: have someone available to release the goods and someone ready to receive them.

Email your load details before booking if you are unsure which vehicle is suitable.

Plan your delivery window

You can request delivery from Dorking to nearby towns, London, Heathrow or another destination in mainland Great Britain. Same-day arrival depends on when collection takes place, the journey distance, traffic and the recipient’s availability.

Check the destination’s opening hours and any booked receiving slot. Include these details before booking, and allow time for loading and handover as well as travel.

For a multi-drop journey, add the addresses in the required order. If one recipient has an earlier deadline, confirm whether the proposed route can meet it before completing the booking.

Dorking courier questions

Can you collect from a home or named property?

You can request collection from these addresses. Provide the full property name or number, postcode and entrance instructions, including any restrictions on vehicle access.

Can you collect from a village outside Dorking?

Send the complete collection address and load details so availability can be checked for that location. Do not rely on the town name alone when requesting a quote.

How quickly can a courier collect?

The earliest collection depends on driver availability, vehicle requirements, traffic and your pickup address. Email your route, load details and deadline so timing can be checked.

Can I book several delivery stops?

Yes. Add each destination to the calculator in the required order. Allow for travel and handover time at every stop.

What if online booking is unavailable?

Email info@samedayrun.co.uk with both addresses, the packaged dimensions, total weight and required timing. We can advise on availability.
