Collections From Winchester Homes and Businesses
Request collection from offices, shops, workshops and residential addresses. For city-centre premises, identify the correct entrance and explain where the driver can legally stop to collect your goods.
For a business at Winnall or Bar End, include the company name, unit number and loading instructions. Tell us whether collection is from reception, a dispatch office or a separate loading bay.
Documents and Office Supplies
Send signed paperwork, printed materials and business supplies to a named recipient. Include the receiving department and any reference needed for the handover.
Parts and Equipment
Arrange transport for replacement components, packed tools and office equipment. Provide the supplier’s collection reference, dimensions and combined weight.
Parcels and Business Stock
Book delivery of securely packed orders, personal parcels and boxed stock. Confirm the package count and check that the recipient can accept the delivery.
Delivering Paperwork to the Correct Recipient
For important documents, provide a clear handover instruction rather than only the building address. Identify the person, department or reception desk authorised to accept the package.
If delivery involves an office, court or other institution, check its receiving procedures and opening hours before booking. Physical delivery does not automatically complete a filing or submission process; any specific acceptance requirements should be confirmed with the recipient.
Supplier Collections and Business Deliveries
When collecting an order on your behalf, the goods should be paid for, packed and ready for release. Supply the order reference, collection contact and details of the complete consignment.
For equipment going to a customer site, include the receiving contact and unloading arrangements. Discuss any return equipment or additional collection before booking so the full journey can be agreed.
Plan Your Vehicle and Delivery Deadline
Measure the goods with their packaging and check the total weight. Tell us about items that must remain upright, cannot be stacked or require pallet space. Tail-lift requirements and extra lifting assistance need agreement before payment.
If your goods must arrive before a particular time, email info@samedayrun.co.uk with both addresses, the item details and required arrival time. The calculator provides a route price; a fixed collection or delivery deadline needs separate confirmation.
Multiple Drop-Offs From One Collection
Add destinations to the calculator in your preferred delivery order. Label each package for its recipient and provide separate contact details for every stop.
Discuss fixed receiving hours or delivery appointments before confirming the booking. The itinerary needs to allow for access and handover at each address.
