Cambridge Campus and Business Collections

For a university, campus or shared business building in Cambridge, give the building name, department and contact responsible for handing over the goods. A general campus postcode may lead to a different entrance from the one needed for your collection.

Confirm whether the handover is at reception, a goods entrance or an agreed meeting point. Include any vehicle access instructions and check that someone will be available when the driver arrives.

Rural Properties and Workshop Collections

For rural addresses around Ely, Soham, March or Wisbech, include the property name and directions to the correct entrance. Tell us about narrow access, height restrictions or surfaces that could affect a larger vehicle.

If equipment is being collected from a farm or workshop, identify the packed items clearly and confirm how they will be loaded. Heavy goods may need assistance or mechanical loading at both collection and delivery.

Warehouse and Supplier Handovers

For warehouse collections in Peterborough, Huntingdon or St Neots, provide the collection reference, exact unit and loading entrance. Confirm that the supplier has released the order and that any appointment has been arranged.

At the destination, check receiving hours rather than assuming someone can accept a delivery at any time. If several stops are involved, include the time restrictions for every address.

Before You Book

• Confirm the load: item count, dimensions, total weight and packaging.
• Confirm readiness: the time goods will be available and any release reference.
• Confirm access: the correct entrance and suitable loading arrangements.
• Confirm receipt: a receiving contact and the latest acceptable arrival time.
