Collections From Shops, Suppliers and Homes
Request collection from a retail store, business premises or residential address in Hedge End. Provide the complete address and a contact who can release the goods at the agreed collection time.
For store collections, specify whether the driver should use the customer collection desk or a separate loading entrance. Include the order reference and check that the retailer permits collection by a courier on your behalf.
Retail Orders and Purchases
Arrange transport for paid purchases and securely packed customer orders. Confirm that every item is available and provide the package sizes before selecting a vehicle.
Business Supplies and Parts
Send replacement components, boxed stock and office supplies to another site. Provide the supplier’s collection reference and the recipient’s receiving hours.
Documents and Personal Items
Book direct delivery of paperwork, forgotten belongings and packed parcels. Include a named recipient and any access instructions for the handover.
Booking a Courier for a Store Collection
Before booking, ask the seller to confirm that the order is ready for release and appropriately packaged. Let us know if collection requires written authorisation or a particular reference.
Check the size and weight of the packaged goods rather than relying only on the product description. Large purchases may need loading assistance, and delivery arrangements should be suitable at your destination.
Delivery to Your Home or Workplace
Confirm that someone will be available to accept the goods. For flats or shared offices, include entry instructions, the floor and the correct receiving contact.
Tell us about stairs, long carrying distances or restricted vehicle access. Extra lifting assistance, installation and unpacking are not automatically included in a courier booking; discuss any additional requirements before payment.
Choose a Vehicle and Confirm Your Timing
Select a vehicle using the combined weight and dimensions of your complete load. Explain if items must remain upright, cannot be stacked or need special securing. Fragile goods must be protected for road transport.
For a fixed collection slot or delivery deadline, email info@samedayrun.co.uk with both addresses and the item details. The calculator provides a route price; a specific collection or arrival time needs separate confirmation.
Multiple Drop-Offs From One Collection
Add each delivery address to the calculator in your preferred stop order. Label the packages for their destinations and supply separate contact details for every recipient.
If you need collections from several stores or suppliers, contact us to agree the full itinerary before booking. Additional collections should not be entered as delivery stops without discussing the arrangements.
